Lifetime Limited Stain Resistant Warranty
Signature Crypton Carpet provides a lifetime limited stain warranty and a 10-year Light Fastness and Atmospheric Contaminant warranty on all carpets treated with Crypton Advanced Technologies. This lifetime stain warranty covers all carpets made by Signature Crypton Carpet.
Carpets by Signature Crypton Carpet, treated with Crypton Advanced Technologies, are guaranteed to provide lifetime stain resistance to acid type spills, regardless of number of years in service, traffic levels or number of cleanings. Crypton Advanced Technologies is a permanent feature of Signature Crypton Carpet and will pass the General Services Administration (GSA) test for Permanence-SIN 31-8 (note 11), for the life of the carpet. Most stains (96%) encountered in commercial settings are acid based and covered under the warranty: i.e. coffee, tea, sodas, and many healthcare spills.
Features Warranted
Permanent Stain Protection Against Acid Type Spills – Lifetime Warranty
96% of all stains are acid based, i.e. coffee, tea, sodas, most food spills and many healthcare spills. Signature Crypton Carpet warrants that carpets made incorporating Crypton Advanced Technologies will retain permanent stain protection against acid type spills for the life of the carpet as measured by General Services Administration (GSA) Test for Permanence SIN 31-8 (note 11). AATCC, 175 modified by exposing sample to 100 revolutions of the Taber Abrader (1,000 gram weight per H-18 wheel) then stain testing in the abraded area. Rating of 8.0 or better on the AATCC Red 40 Stain Scale.
Static Protection: Lifetime
Signature Crypton Carpet warrants that all carpets incorporating Crypton Advanced Technologies will offer protection from static discharge in excess of 3.5 KV when tested under the Standard Shuffle Test Method at 70 degrees F and 20% R.H. for the life of the carpet.

Obligations of Warrantor
Signature Crypton Carpet will, within ten working days of receipt of claim, designate a representative to inspect the standard performance product and evaluate the warranty claim.
Limitations
Any portion of the Signature Crypton Carpet not performing as stated will be repaired to conform to the warranty. If repair is not commercially practical, Signature Crypton Carpet may, at its option, replace the affected carpet or refund the proportional purchase price for the affected area during the first two years. Signature Crypton Carpet will pay the costs of the carpet and reasonable freight. Costs incurred for the moving of equipment, furnishings, partitions and the like, that were installed over the Signature Crypton Carpet product will be at the consumer’s expense. Carpet installed on stairs or in areas subject to abnormal foot-traffic use (i.e. golf spikes, other spiked footwear, ski boots, and the like) is excluded. This warranty does not cover burns, cuts, fading, matting, pills, pulls, odor, soiling, staining, tears or damage due to improper installation or due to improper cleaning agents or methods. Incidental and consequential damages are not the responsibility of Signature Crypton Carpet, and, to the extent permitted by law, are hereby excluded as to both property damage and personal injury. Replacement carpet will come only from current running-line products comparable to the warranted product.
Implied Warranty Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and is in lieu of all other express or implied warranties.
In certain states, you may also have implied warranty rights, including an implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In any event of a problem with warranty, service, or performance, your rights under both the express and implied warranties may be enforceable in an appropriate court of law. These warranties apply only in the United States and Canada.
